VACANCY NOTICE

DATE: June 13, 2025

POSITION TITLE: Temporary Summer Computer Data Assistant

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT: Districtwide    

CERTIFICATION: Civil Service - Non-Competitive

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:    

Candidates must be able to lift heavy equipment including computers and monitors and be adept at using a computer.  Candidates should have a good general knowledge of computers and be able to communicate effectively and work well within a team.

Candidates must be able to provide their own transportation to the different school buildings and be able to work independently and unsupervised at times.

JOB DESCRIPTION:           

The job will be primarily focused on moving, unloading, setting up, cleaning, and taking inventory of equipment. The job requires frequent lifting of computers and monitors.  Specifically, candidates may do any/all of the following:

  • Deliver boxed equipment to classrooms, unpack, and setup.
  • Wire laptop cabinets.
  • Disassemble and assemble desktops in classrooms.
  • Inventory equipment.
  • Complete data entry assignments as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Technology or designee.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have prior experience working in our technology department for summer help.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:                     

  • Temporary, Summer Position
  • $15.50 per hour
  • Scheduled times from June 30th through August 29th, 2025
