ANTICIPATED VACANCY NOTICE

POSITION TITLE: Registered School Nurse (RN)
LOCATION: Mexico Middle School
CERTIFICATION: Valid NYS License as Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
START DATE: As soon as possible
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid NYS License as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Strong rapport with children
- Varied nursing experience preferred
- Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues, laws and regulations governing health services in the school, wellness education, and emergency medical skills
- Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social services agencies
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Such alternatives to the above as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Full-time, probationary appointment
- 10-month position
- Salary and benefits per MACSFA contract
