POSITION TITLE: Long-Term Substitute RTI Teacher
ASSIGNMENT: Mexico Middle School
CERTIFICATION: Valid NYS Certification
START DATE: As Soon As Possible
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid NYS Certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6), Special Education, Students with Disabilities (All Grades), or equivalent
- Strong commitment to children
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and understanding of effective classroom instruction
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Effective Intervention Strategies for At-Risk Students
- Knowledge of NYSED Assessments
- Alternatives to the above as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
- Experience with iReady preferred
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Full-time, temporary appointment
- $145.00 per day (Certified)
- Assignment expected to last through June 2026
