ANTICIPATED VACANCY NOTICE

POSITION TITLE: Grounds Helper
ASSIGNMENT: Districtwide
CERTIFICATION: Civil Service - Labor
START DATE: As Soon As Possible
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from High School or equivalency diploma
- Must possess a valid NYS Driver License
- Must have experience with groundskeeping and cleaning duties
- Must have experience operating lawn and snow removal equipment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work independently
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Full-time, probationary appointment
- 12-month position
- $33,408.00 per year (as of January 1, 2026)
- Benefits as per CSEA Contract
- 6:30am – 3:00pm (April – November) and 4:30am – 1:00pm (December – March)
- Hours may vary per supervisor’s discretion to meet district needs
