POSITION TITLE: Long-Term Substitute Teaching Assistants (2 positions) CURRENT ASSIGNMENT: New Haven Elementary School
Mexico Middle School
CERTIFICATION: Valid NYS Certification
START DATE: As Soon As Possible
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant
- Strong commitment to children
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Such alternatives to the above as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Full-time, temporary appointment
- Assignments expected through June 30, 2027, or TBD
- Salary and benefits per MACSFA contract
