POSITION TITLE:              Grounds Helper

ASSIGNMENT:                   Districtwide   

CERTIFICATION:              Civil Service - Labor

START DATE:                     As Soon As Possible

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from High School or equivalency diploma
  • Must possess a valid NYS Driver License
  • Must have experience with groundskeeping and cleaning duties
  • Must have experience operating lawn and snow removal equipment
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Full-time, probationary appointment
  • 12-month position
  • $32,305.00 per year
  • Benefits as per CSEA Contract
  • 6:30am – 3:00pm (April – November) and 4:30am – 1:00pm (December – March)
  • Hours may vary per supervisor’s discretion to meet district needs
