Hourly Cleaner (12-month)	27-009	Posting #27-009 ANTICIPATED VACANCY NOTICE DATE: July 31, 2026 POSITION TITLE: Hourly Cleaner (12-month) CURRENT ASSIGNMENT: Palermo Elementary School Hours: 8:00PM-11:00PM (School Year) CERTIFICATION: Civil Service - Labor Class START DATE: September 2026 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency Moderate to heavy lifting required Knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment Ability to follow oral and written instructions Willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks Ability to work independently TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Probationary appointment 10-months on 2^nd shift (during school year) 2-months on full-time, 8-hour shift (during summer break - hours to meet district needs) Hours may vary per supervisor’s discretion to meet district needs Job specifications as per civil service and district job description $19.58/hour APPLICATION DEADLINE: Open Until Filled Outside applicants and current employees requesting a *promotional move,* please see our website (https://www.mexicocsd.org/job-opportunities) for application instructions.
