ANTICIPATED VACANCY NOTICE

POSITION TITLE:                   Hourly Food Service Helper                                                   

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT:     Food Services Department (Mexico Middle School)                                                           

CERTIFICATION:                    Civil Service - Labor Class

START DATE:                           As soon as possible

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of the proper methods of serving food
• Knowledge of the care of kitchenware, small and large kitchen appliances
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Ability to maintain good personal relationships with children and adults

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Part-time, probationary appointment
• 10-month position
• Working the school calendar (September through June)
• Middle School (3 hours daily): 10:15AM – 1:15PM
• $15.97 per hour
• Hours may vary per supervisor’s discretion to meet district needs
