CERTIFICATION:                    Valid NYS License as Registered Professional Nurse (RN)

 

START DATE:                           As Soon As Possible

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Valid NYS License as a Registered Professional Nurse
  2. Strong rapport with children
  3. Varied nursing experience preferred
  4. Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues, laws and regulations governing health services in the school, wellness education, and emergency medical skills
  5. Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social services agencies
  6. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  7. Such alternatives to the above as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

 

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

 

  • Full-time, probationary appointment
  • 10-month position
  • Salary and benefits per MACSFA contract

  1. Valid NYS Certification: Social Studies (Grades 7-12)
  2. Strong commitment to children
  3. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
  4. Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards and understanding of effective classroom instruction
  5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  6. Such alternatives to the above as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

 

  • Fulltime, temporary appointment
  • $140.00 per day (Certified)
  • Assignment expected from September 8th, 2025 through October 3rd, 2025
