POSITION TITLE:                    Hourly Custodial Worker

 

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT:    Mexico Middle School  

 

CERTIFICATION :                   Civil Service - Labor Class

 

START DATE:                           March 2025

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Moderate to heavy lifting required
  • Knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks
  • Experience with minor maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks 
  • Ability to work independently
  • MS Hourly Custodial Worker will be responsible for athletic practices at Middle School, games, events, cleaning, routine maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Job specifications as per Civil Service and district job description
  • 10-month position (mid-August through the end of May)
  • Part-Time: Saturday - 6:30 am to 3:00 pm or as needed to meet district needs
  • $22.00 per hour
